Sakamoto Days Celebrates My Hero Academia Finale with New Promo

Sakamoto Days is paying homage to My Hero Academia with a special tribute in its newest chapter. My Hero Academia officially concluded its run in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine with the release of Chapter 430, ending a decade-long journey. This milestone has inspired numerous tributes from fans worldwide, as well as from other well-known creators featured in the same magazine. Yuto Suzuki, the creator of Sakamoto Days, took an extra step in honoring the conclusion of My Hero Academia.

Suzuki not only shared a heartfelt message in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine: “Congratulations for completing My Hero after ten years. Being in the same magazine has been the pride of my life,” but also embedded a subtle tribute in the cover art for Sakamoto Days Chapter 177. This special color page shows Taro Sakamoto and his crew cleaning a pool, while Shin Asakura is seen emotionally reading a segment from My Hero Academia—specifically the pages where Izuku Midoriya uses One For All at 100% against Overhaul during the Shie Hassaikai arc.
