Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. Celebrate 22 Years of Marriage

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. were the quintessential ’90s “it” couple, and their relationship continues to flourish over two decades later.

On Sunday, the Hollywood duo celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary with a heartwarming Instagram post.

“22 @realfreddieprinze 🥂💍👰🏼,” Gellar, 47, and Prinze Jr., 48, captioned the post, featuring a picture of them joyfully embracing and smiling.

Fans of the “Scooby-Doo” stars flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages celebrating their remarkable milestone.

“Congratulations to the best Daphne and Fred [ever] seen on the big screen!” one fan wrote, referring to the characters the pair portrayed in 2002’s “Scooby-Doo” and its 2004 sequel “Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.”

Gellar and Prinze Jr. first connected on the set of the 1997 horror film “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and later married in 2002.

Regarding the secret to their enduring marriage, Gellar revealed to People magazine that mindfulness and time management play crucial roles.

“Take the 10 minutes — put the phone down. Have a cup of coffee together. Walk the dog at the end of the night. Read a story with your kids,” she advised.

“Make the most of the time that you have,” Gellar continued. “We are all pulled in so many directions, so make sure that, whichever one you are focusing on, you’re present.”
