Scarface Hospitalized in ICU for Undisclosed Medical Condition

Scarface, the renowned Houston rapper, has been admitted to the intensive care unit at Houston Methodist Hospital for treatment of an undisclosed medical condition.

On August 24, Scarface shared a photo on Instagram revealing his current situation. The image shows him with multiple heart monitors attached and tubes, appearing to contain blood, protruding from his stomach. He captioned the post with “Ouch… [praying hands emojis] Grateful,” but did not provide further details about his condition.

This development comes after a history of health struggles for the rapper. In May 2020, Scarface contracted COVID-19 during the onset of the pandemic, which had a severe impact on his health. Speaking on Willie D’s YouTube show Willie D Live, he recounted his harrowing experience with the virus. “You know, like this whole three weeks have been an ordeal, Will,” he shared. “Like it’s the craziest sh*t I’ve ever done and seen in my life. I’ve been to the point where I just felt like I was going to die, bro. I threw up so much until it was just hot sauce. Like your gasses and the stuff in your stomach, your acids. I didn’t have any food in my stomach. It was just coming up like bile, bro.”

The effects of COVID-19 were so intense that Scarface had to undergo dialysis. Unfortunately, he later revealed that his kidneys never fully recovered from the ordeal. His latest health scare has sparked an outpouring of support and concern from fans and the music community.
