Scarlett Johansson, renowned for her role as Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, recently shared an amusing anecdote about her daughter Rosie with People. While promoting her new film “Fly Me to the Moon” that co-stars Channing Tatum, Johansson revealed that Rosie is quite selective about her mom’s roles.

Rosie appreciates that her mother plays the superhero Black Widow but is hesitant to watch any Avengers movies. “She likes that I play Black Widow, but she’s too scared to watch an Avengers movie,” said Johansson. She further added, “She’s just like, ‘It’s violent.’ I’m like, ‘Oh God.'”

Interestingly, Rosie is more excited about Johansson’s latest project, “Fly Me to the Moon.” Johansson noted that Rosie is particularly thrilled about the hair and makeup involved in the film. “She’s excited for the hair and makeup mostly. It’s just so fun… She’s girly,” Johansson shared.

This isn’t the first time Johansson has talked about her daughter’s girly nature. In a previous 2018 interview on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Johansson described Rosie as “very sweet” and “painfully girly.”

Scarlett Johansson is a mother of two children, Rosie and Cosmo. Rosie was born on August 30, 2014, during Johansson’s marriage with Romain Dauriac. Johansson and Dauriac were together from 2012 till 2017. In August 2021, Johansson and her current husband, Colin Jost, welcomed their son Cosmo.

The fascination Rosie has with “Fly Me to the Moon” brings a level of excitement in Johansson’s household. The film, set in the 1960s, offers ample opportunities for stunning hair and makeup, which Rosie keenly enjoys.
