Rap beef often leaves some unexpected ripples, similar to when Rick Ross recently faced backlash from Drake fans for playing Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” at a show in Canada. Even though the feud between Drake and Kendrick appears to have concluded, Schoolboy Q suggests the aftereffects are still surfacing.

On Wednesday, Schoolboy Q’s concert in Toronto was unexpectedly canceled. He speculated that Toronto Police and Drake might be responsible, citing the History concert venue’s association with Live Nation and Drake as a potential reason behind the decision.

“THey just cancelled my sHow in TORONTO 😂… CANADIAN POLICE DONT WANT NOBODY FROM TDE PERFORMING..” tweeted the rapper Wednesday night.

Even though his allegations were unconfirmed, Schoolboy Q continued to share his suspicions in a series of tweets. He pointed out that Top Dawg, the boss of his label TDE, had recently been with Cash Money founders Baby and Slim—who have close ties to Drake—without any issues. He also noted that OVO artist PartyNextDoor had just performed in Los Angeles without any problems.

In the end, Schoolboy Q seemed to laugh off the situation, reminiscing about his appearance in Kendrick’s “The Pop Out” and the “Not Like Us” video. Humorously, he questioned why Kendrick included him in the video in the first place, indicating that he now “gets it.”

Though there’s no substantial evidence to support Schoolboy Q’s claims of foul play, his candid tweets on the matter certainly provided some entertainment.
