Kendrick Lamar’s powerful track “Not Like Us” continues to leave an indelible mark. During the Juneteenth concert titled The Pop Out — Ken & Friends, Schoolboy Q enjoyed a front-row view as Lamar executed “Not Like Us” five times in a row. Adding to the drama, Schoolboy Q even appeared in the star-studded video for the song, which is a diss track aimed at Drake.

Originally, Schoolboy Q’s tour Blue Lips Weekends was set to hit Toronto, the hometown of Drake, on Thursday, July 18. However, this plan has been abruptly altered.

In a candid post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Schoolboy Q voiced his frustration: “THey just cancelled my sHow in TORONTO [cry-laughing emoji]. CANADIAN POLICE DONT WANT NOBODY FROM TDE PERFORMING.”

He continued his tirade in a second post, which read, “TOP was just wit Wayne & Baby smH partynextdoor just Had a sHow @ tHe palladium if we wanted to get yall we would’ve just did it.. now wHen sumbody get Hurt don’t cry..”

Schoolboy Q then managed to find some humor amidst his obvious displeasure: “Actually I get it.. Nvm tHis sHit Lokey Hilarious [cry-laughing emoji]… Iono wHy dot put me in tHat f*cking video [face-palm emoji].”

As of now, no official reason has been given for the show’s cancellation. Currently, Schoolboy Q’s next scheduled performance will be in Chicago, Illinois, on July 20.
