Scooter Braun jokes about not being invited to Taylor Swift’s party

Scooter Braun’s ongoing feud with Taylor Swift continues to make waves, and it seems the music mogul finds the whole situation amusing.

The retired music manager took to his Instagram story on Tuesday night, revealing he had “finally watched” the Max documentary titled “Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood.” The documentary explores their prolonged feud, which began when Braun acquired the rights to Swift’s master recordings.

Adding fuel to the fire, Braun reshared a TMZ post on his Instagram about a celebrity-filled party hosted by Swift for her friend Blake Lively, who stars in “It Ends with Us.” He jokingly captioned his post, “How was I not invited to this?!?” and included the hashtag, “#laughalittle.”

Earlier this summer, Braun, who became a tabloid fixture due to his feud with Swift, announced his retirement as a music manager after a 23-year career. He shared this news in a heartfelt Instagram post on June 17, reminiscing about his journey in the music industry.

“I have been blessed to have had a ‘Forrest Gump’-like life while witnessing and taking part in the journeys of some of the most extraordinarily talented people the world has ever seen,” Braun wrote. “I’m constantly pinching myself and asking, ‘how did I get here?’ And after 23 years this chapter as a music manager has come to an end.”

Throughout his career, Braun worked with some of the most prominent names in the music industry, including Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, and Ariana Grande.

However, reports surfaced last summer that several of Braun’s A-list clients were severing ties with him. Puck News reported that Bieber and Braun, who had been collaborators throughout Bieber’s entire career, “haven’t talked in months.” Meanwhile, Billboard and People both reported that Grande was also ending her professional relationship with Braun.

This past June 17, which happens to be Braun’s birthday, Swift seemed to take a subtle jab at him during her concert in Cardiff, Wales. During her acoustic set, the singer said, “I spend a lot of my time trying to plan these things,” before launching into “I Forgot That You Existed” and transitioning seamlessly into “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things.”
