Scott Disick Reflects on Time’s Passage in Message to Daughter Penelope

Scott Disick is a doting father and recently found himself in a reflective mood, marveling at how quickly time has passed. The Kardashians star contemplated his only daughter, Penelope, whom he shares with ex Kourtney Kardashian, as she celebrated her 12th birthday on July 8.

Taking to Instagram, Scott shared a touching, never-before-seen photo of the two of them. In the snapshot, Scott is seen carrying Penelope in his arms while they take a walk outside. Along with the picture, he wrote a heartfelt caption: “Happy birthday 2 my little girl who isn’t that little anymore. Words could never describe how much u mean 2 me,” accompanied by several red heart emojis.

Fans quickly responded to the post, showering Scott with warm comments and reminding him of the enduring bond between a father and his daughter. One fan wrote, “A daughter a daughter for all of her life. You’re lucky,” while another said, “We all know Daddy’s girl, unbeatable bond. Yes, you are a good dad.” A third added, “She will never outgrow her precious Daddy!!! So cute the Lord!!”

Scott wasn’t the only family member to publicly celebrate Penelope’s birthday. Kim Kardashian shared numerous photos of herself and Penelope spanning the years. She expressed her astonishment at how quickly 12 years had gone by, writing, “My baby P is 12 years old today. It’s so crazy how 12 just crept up.” Kim also posted a picture of her daughter North, 11, and Penelope together, captioning it, “Nothing more special than my niece being my daughter’s best friend.”

Kris Jenner, too, shared heartfelt tributes to Penelope. She posted several photos from over the years, expressing her emotions in a sweet birthday message. “Happy birthday to my beautiful Granddaughter, Penelope! Watching you grow into the smart, kind, funny, creative, amazing young lady you are today has been one of my greatest joys. I am so proud of you, P!” she wrote.

Continuing her message, Kris highlighted Penelope’s qualities: “You are such an amazing sister, daughter, granddaughter, friend, cousin, and niece. You light up every room with your smile and fill our hearts with so much love. May your day be filled with joy, laughter, and all your favorite things. I love you to the moon and back! Lovey xo.”

In addition to Penelope, Kourtney and Scott are also parents to two sons, Mason, 14, and Reign, nine. Kourtney recently expanded her family further, welcoming a baby son named Rocky with her husband Travis Barker in November 2023.
