Sexyy Red Performs ‘U My Everything’ and ‘Get It Sexyy’ at 2024 Bash

Sexyy Red electrified the 2024 BET Awards with her standout performance of “U My Everything” and “Get It Sexyy” this evening.

The event took place live on Sunday, June 28, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Sexyy Red took the stage against a striking presidential backdrop of the White House as she sang her new track “U My Everything” followed by her hit “Get It Sexyy.”

Dressed in a flowing red sheer robe, the rapper from St. Louis embodied her name by setting a sultry tone with dimmed lights as she started her set with “U My Everything,” originally featuring Drake from her latest mixtape, In Sexyy We Trust. She then got the audience on their feet with a high-energy performance of her Billboard Hot 100 hit “Get It Sexyy,” accompanied by dancers dressed in sharp suits.

Sexyy Red is no stranger to the BET Awards stage. Last October, she showcased her talent at the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards, performing breakout singles like “Pound Town” and “SkeeYee” as well as “Shake Ya Dreads.” She also joined DaBaby on stage for a rendition of “Shake Sumn.”

For this year’s show, Sexyy Red earned nominations in five categories: Best Female Hip Hop Artist, Best New Artist, Best Collaboration, Viewers Choice Award, and Best Music Video for “Rich Baby Daddy” with Drake and SZA.

The 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards also saw performances from numerous artists in the Best Female Hip Hop Artist category, which featured Cardi B, Doja Cat, GloRilla, Ice Spice, Latto, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, and Sexyy Red. Among these, GloRilla, Latto, Megan Thee Stallion, and Sexyy Red hit the stage to deliver memorable performances.
