Sexyy Red Quietly Cancels Tour Dates Weeks After Claiming “Sabotage”

Sexyy Red is gearing up for the launch of her Sexyy Red 4 President Tour, but some fans have been left disappointed as certain upcoming dates have been cancelled.

The tour was initially set to begin in Seattle on August 22, but that date has now been canceled, according to HipHopDX. The tour will instead kick off on August 24 in Atlanta. Additionally, the August 23 show in Portland and the August 26 show in Oakland have also been called off. Ticketmaster has notified ticketholders about the changes, but Sexyy Red herself has yet to make an official announcement regarding the cancellations.

This news follows some tour-related drama from July. Responding to a report that claimed her tour was “on the verge of being canceled,” Sexyy Red took to Twitter to reassure fans, tweeting, “My fans are buying tickets we’re doin just fine we not canceling no tour dis cancelling sh*t all cap.”

In a series of tweets, she elaborated, “Dis how Dey try to do u wen u go wit an independent promoter n the bigger companies try to sabotage u we not cancelling sht. I did my touring deal with a black promoter black owned company AG Entertainment and now Dey playin dirty paying pages spreading fake news to discourage my fans from buying tickets.”
