Sexyy Red Twerks to ‘Get It Sexyy’ at 2024 BET Awards’ White House Set

St. Louis’ very own Sexyy Red captivated audiences at the 2024 BET Awards with an electrifying performance on Sunday, June 30, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. She took the stage in an elegant red gown, reminiscent of a lounge singer, accompanied by a jazz band and dancers to deliver a stunning rendition of her Drake-featured track “U My Everything.”

After wowing the crowd with her initial performance, Sexyy Red completely shifted gears. She tackled her hit song “Get It Sexyy” on a set designed to resemble the White House steps. Audience members went wild as she twerked in a white shirt and a pinstriped skirt, perfectly aligning with the presidential theme of her latest mixtape, In Sexyy We Trust.

Sexyy Red is ready to take her show on the road with her newly announced Sexyy Red 4 President U.S. Tour, slated to begin in August in Seattle. The tour will span 26 cities, concluding on October 1 in Nashville. Fans in her hometown of St. Louis can look forward to a thrilling performance on September 13. Opening for her on this tour will be Hunxho, Loe Shimmy, and fellow St. Louis native BlakeIANA. Tickets are already available for purchase.

But Sexyy Red isn’t stopping at just a national tour. She has her eyes set on international stages, planning a festival run across Europe. Her scheduled appearances include major festivals like Wireless Festival, Roskilde, and Rolling Loud Europe, before returning to the United States to continue her tour.

Both of the songs she performed at the BET Awards are making waves on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. “Get It Sexyy” sits comfortably at No. 38, while “U My Everything” featuring Drake holds the No. 59 spot.
