Every week, Billboard unveils the top 10 songs on the latest Hot 100 chart. The most recent rankings, for the chart dated August 24, are out now, so let’s run down who had this week’s biggest hits.

“Too Sweet” by Hozier has seen its fair share of chart-topping success, having hit No. 1 back in April. Currently, it’s still dominating the Hot Rock Songs chart, leading for a notable 20th week.

Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” may be sitting at No. 9 this week, but it has maintained a remarkable presence in the top 10 for 31 weeks. This feat ties it with the eighth-most top 10 weeks this decade. It still has some way to go to match The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights,” which held on for 57 weeks.

Sabrina Carpenter’s “Please Please Please” continues to make waves. Following the announcement last week that Carpenter will be performing at this year’s MTV VMAs, there’s speculation she might perform this former chart-topper.

“Good Luck, Babe!” by Chappell Roan reached its peak at No. 6 last week but has taken a slight drop to No. 7. Roan is also set to perform at the 2024 VMAs, further fueling interest in her hit single.

“Million Dollar Baby” by Tommy Richman is another robust contender, currently holding strong in the top 10. While it may tap out at No. 2, the viral sensation shows no signs of fading soon.

Billie Eilish continues her streak of chart success with “Birds Of A Feather.” The song marks her fifth top-5 hit, following “Bad Buy,” “Therefore I Am,” and “Lunch.” Her album Hit Me Hard And Soft is gaining significant traction, generating multiple top-5 singles.

Sabrina Carpenter has another track on the chart this week, “Espresso,” which, despite never topping the Hot 100, still sits just shy of the top 3, holding at No. 4.

Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” is a titan in its right, dominating both the Hot Rap Songs chart for 14 weeks and the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for 12 weeks. Its sustained success underlines Lamar’s significant influence on contemporary music.

Post Malone’s collaboration with Morgan Wallen, “I Had Some Help,” continues to showcase the popularity of country music in the charts. The track, which enjoyed a six-week run at No. 1, is still maintaining a strong presence in the No. 2 spot.

At the top of the chart is Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy).” This infectious hit is not only one of the year’s most prominent tracks but has also spent six weeks at No. 1, tying with “I Had Some Help” for the most weeks on top in 2024.
