Shania Twain, 58, Criticized for Performing in Underwear and Fishnets

Shania Twain fans had a blast over the weekend as the 58-year-old singer showcased her stunning physique on social media after informing her followers of an upgrade. Shania took to Instagram with a slideshow featuring various moments from her performance at the Lytham Festival.

Shania, who remains undoubtedly gorgeous, stole the show with her unique appearance. She sported an orange puffer jacket, cowboy boots, and a black two-piece lingerie set. Many of her followers, however, seemed unimpressed with her fashion choice and shared their opinions freely.

In the lengthy Instagram caption, Shania focused on fulfilling her promise to perform with one of her biggest fans. “You’re Ken? That DOES impress me much! For those who weren’t at my show last night – meet Ken! He’s traveled the world to see me play over the years and I got to return the favor by traveling to him to play in beautiful Lytham,” she wrote.

Despite some supporters praising her look, others felt she needed a better stylist to choose more age-appropriate outfits. “I love Shania, but girl! Dress more your age,” one comment read. Another follower went straight to the point, saying, “What happened to being classy? Love you, Shania, but I don’t understand the trashy outfits.”

Outfit opinions aside, Shania captivated the audience with her distinct voice, performing hit songs like “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” and “That Don’t Impress Me Much”. She shared the stage with country pop singer Lindsay Ell and even performed with Rag’n’Bone Man and Delta Lea Goodrem, leaving the audience thoroughly impressed.

Despite the mixed feedback on Shania’s outfit, the event was clearly a groovy party for most attendees. Shania had previously stated at the start of the year that she would begin showing more skin to embrace aging. She admitted to feeling self-conscious and shy in sexy outfits, but is clearly working through those insecurities.
