Should We Make Noise and Hear What the Neighbors Say?

Things took a humorous turn on this morning’s episode of Live with Kelly and Mark.

Kelly Ripa started the conversation by noting that it takes a lot for "trained New Yorkers" like her and Mark Consuelos to react to loud noises. Consuelos amusingly added that you don’t need to be outdoors to experience such disruptions.

He reminisced about their dentist’s office, which experienced years of construction nearby. Imitating machinery sounds, Consuelos joked, "Is that someone’s teeth getting drilled? No, that’s next door."

The couple revealed that construction is happening next door to their home, bringing noises right into their bedroom. Consuelos hilariously suggested they might "make some noise" of their own to see how the construction workers would react.

Consuelos then humorously slapped the desk multiple times, to which Ripa responded with mock astonishment. Laughing, she asked if his idea of spicing things up involved "banging sounds and yeehaw."

Consuelos continued the fun by proposing other noises, prompting Ripa to interject, telling him to stop. "None of that happens. For the record," she insisted amid laughs.

The antics didn’t stop there. During the show’s "Stump Mark" segment, a contestant mentioned Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Ripa then playfully asked Consuelos if he used to take his dates there.

Consuelos admitted he did, noting it was a common outing in Florida when options ran out. Ripa assured him it was "fun" and not a judgment. Consuelos clarified it was typically an activity done with girlfriends rather than traditional dates.

He also shared memories of "grad night" at Disney World, where high school seniors would spend the night in the park. Ripa found this delightful and pressed Consuelos for more details, teasingly asking if he’d had any hook-ups during those nights.

Consuelos deftly dodged the question by shifting focus to the game directions, but Ripa wasn’t ready to let go. She interrupted him, pointing out that just moments ago, he had compared their bedroom to an animal kingdom.

Consuelos clarified he was only trying to "scandalize the guys next door," referring to the construction workers.

Ripa wrapped it up, saying, "OK. Back to the rules."

Live with Kelly and Mark airs weekdays.
