Simone Biles Buys Hermès Purse After Winning Gold at Paris 2024 Olympics

Simone Biles, the most decorated American Olympic gymnast with 11 medals to her name, recently added another touch of elegance to her accolades in the fashion world with a shopping spree at Hermès in Paris.

During the Paris 2024 Olympics, Biles, widely recognized as the “greatest athlete of all time,” surpassed Shannon Miller’s medal tally, making her the most decorated U.S. gymnast in Olympic history. Her performance saw her snagging four more medals: gold in the women’s all-around team final, gold in the all-around individual final, gold in the vault final, and silver in the floor final, building upon her previous seven medals.

Since the conclusion of the final Olympic women’s gymnastics event on August 5, Biles has been enjoying her time in Paris with her family, teammates, and even Snoop Dogg. The 27-year-old gymnast has been spotted indulging in some retail therapy, particularly at Hermès.

On August 9, Biles shared a glimpse of her Parisian shopping experience at the Hermès store via her Instagram Story. Her post hinted at her interest in the store’s renowned Birkin bags, showing her purchase enclosed in a signature Hermès orange box.

A Birkin bag’s price ranges from $17,000 to six figures, depending on its model, size, and style. Though Biles didn’t disclose what she bought, her post included a side-eye and heart eyes emojis, sparking curiosity among her followers.

The champion gymnast has not only treated herself but also witnessed her father, Ronald Biles, receiving an impressive gift from rapper Snoop Dogg. Celebrating his 75th birthday in Paris, Ronald was joined by his wife Nellie and his daughters Simone and Adria. In a heartfelt gesture, Snoop Dogg gifted Ronald a diamond-encrusted Death Row Records necklace.

Adria, Simone’s younger sister, shared the moment on Instagram with a caption, “Snoop gave him a chain. Now he don’t know how to act,” accompanying a photo of Ronald proudly showcasing his new bling. Adria added a birthday message, “75 looks great on you. Happy Birthday, I love you.”

Simone Biles herself has not been shy about flaunting some sparkle during the Olympics. After clinching gold in the women’s all-around final on August 1, she was seen wearing a diamond goat-shaped pendant necklace.

“My GOAT necklace is just kind of an ode because the people love it and some people hate it,” Biles explained in a press conference following the medal ceremony. She added, “So, it’s like the best of both worlds. I was like: ‘Okay, if it goes well, we’ll wear the GOAT necklace.’ I know people will go crazy over it.”

Biles reflected on the significance of being considered among the greatest athletes, stating, “But at the end of the day, it is crazy that I am in the conversation of ‘greatest of all athletes’ because I just still think: ‘I’m Simone Biles from Spring, Texas, that loves to flip.’”
