Simone Biles Gets Lavish Gift from Parents After Olympics Success

Simone Biles furthered her legacy with yet another dominant performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, adding four new medals to her all-time great trophy case.

In addition to her new Olympic hardware, Biles also received an extravagant gift from her parents.

Ronald and Nellie Biles gifted the renowned gymnast an Hermes bag, Biles announced in a Threads post earlier this week.

“My parents bought me an Hermes bag. Don’t be mad at me, be mad at your parents,” Biles joked on the social media platform.

Ronald and Nellie are actually Biles’ grandparents, but they adopted her and her sister, Adria, at a young age. Biles’ birth mother, Shanon Biles, struggled with addiction.

“Being separated from my biological mom, being placed in foster care before I officially got adopted by my grandparents, it just set me up for a better route at life,” Biles explained in the Simone vs. Herself documentary series.

“I feel like I wouldn’t be where I am unless that turning point happened,” she continued. “I would still be Simone Biles, [but] probably not Simone Biles that everybody else knows, the world knows.”

Biles claimed gold in the team finals, All-Around and Vault at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She also notched silver in the Floor Exercise, extending her all-time Olympic medal count to 11.
