Simone Biles Plans Reunion with Husband Jonathan Owens as NFL Season Begins

Simone Biles is eagerly anticipating her reunion with her husband, Jonathan Owens, as he embarks on the 2024 NFL season.

Owens, 29, had recently flown to Paris to support Biles, the iconic Olympic gymnast, as she secured three more gold medals and one silver for Team USA. Now, it’s his turn to shine as he gears up for his sixth NFL season.

As a safety for the Chicago Bears, Owens has left their Houston, Texas home and made his way back to Chicago, all set for the season’s kickoff this week. Despite the physical distance, the lovebirds have a reunion already penciled in.

Biles, 27, didn’t hesitate to share her excitement about their upcoming get-together with her NFL star husband. She posted a sweet Instagram story featuring polaroids of the couple and captioned it, “See you in a few weeks.”

The exact timing of their reunion remains uncertain, but Biles may make a surprise appearance at one of Owens’ games. On September 15, the Bears will play against the Texans in Houston, a city close to Biles’ heart. She might be in the NRG Stadium stands cheering for Owens before embarking on her own busy schedule.

Recently, Biles shared with her fans that she won’t be able to attend as many of Owens’ games this season. In a TikTok video last month, she explained that her post-Olympic duties would keep her occupied. “I don’t know how many games I’ll be able to make because in a few weeks, we go on tour,” Biles said, describing the Gold Over America tour.

This traveling gymnastics exhibition will feature Biles along with other world-renowned gymnastic stars, including her USA teammates Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, and Hezly Rivera. The tour kicks off on September 16 in Oceanside, California, and will span 30 stops across the United States, concluding in Detroit on November 3. This end date coincides with Week 9 of the NFL regular season.

Owens, meanwhile, will be focused on his NFL career in Chicago as Biles oversees the construction of their dream home in Texas. She regularly shares updates on their new house on social media, giving fans a glimpse into their personal life and ongoing projects.

In one recent Instagram post, Biles posted a photo of Owens standing in front of a sleek black marble fireplace with the caption, “Building our dream home. So lucky to do this thing called life with you.” Another post featured a mirror selfie where Biles detailed a day filled with house meetings, landscaping, and planning pool, audio, and security amenities for the house.

She also posted a video panning through their nearly-complete kitchen in the waterfront mansion, expressing her excitement: “So excited to make this house a HOME a couple more months.”

Despite their busy professions and differing schedules, Biles and Owens continue to make it work, proving their strong bond and mutual support for each other’s careers and life goals.
