Simone Biles Responds to Big News About Her Husband

Now that her historic Olympic stint in Paris is officially over, Simone Biles can now focus on her duties as the wife of Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens. Her husband traveled to Paris to support her during the competition, so you can expect Simone to do everything she can to return the favor now that the NFL season is about to begin.

Speaking of the upcoming campaign, the Bears took to social media on Tuesday to announce their initial 53-man roster heading into the new season. Naturally, it was the squad’s defensive backs that caught the 11-time Olympic medalist’s attention.

Biles shared the Bears’ post on her own Instagram account with a simple caption highlighting Chicago’s “Bear Down” fight song: “🐻👇🏾”

Owens, who signed with the Bears as a free agent this offseason, wasn’t the one featured in the photo. However, the fact that the 29-year-old was listed as one of the DBs on the 53-man roster is certainly newsworthy enough for Biles.

Owens isn’t exactly a superstar for Chicago, but there is no doubt that Biles will be on the sidelines cheering her heart out for her beau — at least whenever her extremely busy schedule permits her to do so.
