Simone Biles Reveals Inside Look of Her Renovated Texas Mansion

Simone Biles returns from Paris

Simone Biles has returned from her successful run at the Olympics, and as she reunites with her husband Jonathan Owens, the gold medalist certainly deserves some rest and relaxation.

But there’s still work to be done. Her waterfront mansion in Texas is undergoing construction. The gymnast and her football star husband began building their forever home in September 2023, just months after they tied the knot in April of the same year.

Simone shared updates on their new home via her Instagram Story, revealing major progress on the interiors while she was away.

The kitchen now boasts modern white cabinets and a luxurious black and white marble island at the center. Simone also posted a photo showcasing what appeared to be the beginning stages of a walk-in wet room with glimmering floor tiles and marble walls, along with a floor drain near a window.

She also took a mirror selfie in an expansive wall-length mirror that showed debris on the floor, indicating construction was still in progress.

Another picture revealed freshly installed white cabinets and drawers. These could potentially display her impressive collection of medals and trophies from the Paris Olympics – where she became the most decorated gymnast of all time – or perhaps house her extensive wardrobe.

Simone has kept fans updated on this passion project. Back in November 2023, she shared a photo of the home’s impressive wooden beams and high ceilings. Clearly excited, she grinned while reaching up in the photo, captioning it: “eeeeeeeppppp.”

The gymnast’s home-building journey hasn’t been without its challenges. In that same month, she detailed a setback, explaining in a video that she had been at the house from 11am to 5pm dealing with an issue she thought would only take 30 minutes. “I had no clue what I was walking into,” she said, but added that she “made progress.”

She later shared a second update: “Called my dad for backup yesterday because I panicked! But I’ve made so much progress & I’m so proud of myself. Jonathan will deal with the end result oops… I hope I did it decently & thought of all the things.”

The star gymnast took home three gold medals and one silver at the Paris Olympics, bringing her total to 11 Olympic medals and 43 international medals overall. Her husband, Jonathan Owens, even took time off pre-season training to watch her perform. He was photographed in the stands alongside her parents, Nellie and Ronald, wearing a Simone Biles t-shirt.
