Simone Biles Shares Future Olympic and Motherhood Plans

Simone Biles just earned her fourth Olympic medal this week and is already considering what’s next. After securing three gold medals and one silver, Biles addresses the pressing question of whether she will return to the Olympics in 2028 in Los Angeles.

“You never say never,” she hinted at the possibility of competing in 2028 during her appearance on the Today show. “The next Olympics is on home turf, so you just never know. I’m just gonna relax and see where life takes me.”

Recently, Biles made history at the Paris Olympics by earning three additional medals, making her the most decorated Olympic gymnast with a total of 11 Olympic medals.

“I was so proud,” Biles reflected. “It’s happy and bittersweet that the journey is over. It’s crazy how quickly my third Olympics happened.”

Besides discussing the future of her career, Biles also opened up about her desire to become a mother someday.

“Yes, me and Jonathan always talk about kids,” she said when asked if motherhood is in her future with husband Jonathan Owens. “He would have had them yesterday if we could have. Obviously, we both have goals we want to achieve before starting a family, so yes, that’s definitely in our future.”

Owens has been a strong supporter of Biles throughout her Olympic journey. He shared a photo of Biles’ floor routine that contributed to Team USA winning the team gold medal.

“I love you so much baby [red heart] [heart hand emoji] [blue heart],” Owens captioned the post. “You accomplish whatever you set your mind to and do it with so much grace. 9-time Olympic medalist and counting!!!! So proud to be your husband.”

Biles responded to the post with a comment, “My man my man my man.”

The legendary gymnast and the Chicago Bears star tied the knot last April after three years of dating.
