Skai Jackson Arrested for Domestic Battery After Boyfriend Fight

Skai Jackson has now joined the list of former child stars involved in legal issues. The Disney Channel alum was recently arrested, according to TMZ.

Law enforcement sources informed TMZ that the actress, best known for her roles in “Jessie” and “Bunk’d,” was apprehended last week on charges of domestic violence. The incident took place at Universal CityWalk, where security noticed a physical altercation between Jackson and her boyfriend. Allegedly, Jackson pushed her boyfriend more than once.

Security personnel reportedly observed the confrontation and detained both Jackson and her boyfriend until law enforcement arrived.

Initially, both Jackson and her boyfriend denied that things had turned physical, asserting that they were happily engaged and expecting a baby together.

However, deputies reviewed video footage that captured Jackson pushing her boyfriend. She was subsequently arrested for misdemeanor domestic battery, cited, and released a few hours later.

The case will now be reviewed by the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office to decide if formal charges will be filed.

Not much is known about Jackson’s boyfriend, as she has opted to keep him out of the social media spotlight.

Attempts to reach Jackson’s representatives for comment have thus far been unsuccessful.
