He is joined by child actors Ravi Cabot-Conyers (Wim), Kyriana Kratter (KB), Robert Timothy Smith (Neel), and Ryan Kiera Armstrong (Fern). Skeleton Crew fits into the Star Wars franchise during the timeline of The Mandalorian and its interconnected spinoffs, which come after events in Return of the Jedi. Law described the series with the word “joyful” and explained that it focuses on children who must navigate locations they should never have to be in. He stated, “seeing children in that environment in a Star Wars environment is thrilling and very, very unique.”

Jude also mentioned that eagle-eyed Star Wars fans will be thrilled to spot Easter Eggs that pay tribute to the original films. Watts and Ford pride themselves on these hidden references, calling it “the fun and the challenge of finding some deep cut [references].”
