Snoop Dogg Shares Bold Opinion on New Clippers Arena

Being a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers comes with an unwritten rule: You must continuously express disdain for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Snoop Dogg, one of the most popular die-hard Lakers supporters, didn’t hold back when the new home arena of the Clippers was mentioned during his guest appearance on the “All the Smoke” podcast.

One of the hosts, former NBA player Matt Barnes, particularly mentioned the exclusive section for Clippers fans at the state-of-the-art Intuit Dome. He said fans sitting at the so-called “The Wall” will be told when to clap, when to stand, and even what color of shirt to wear.

“I think it’s a theme that they got from soccer overseas,” said Barnes, who played for both the Lakers and the Clippers, in a video posted on Instagram. “It’s a whole wall where you have to be a Clipper fan to sit in that b––”

Snoop Dogg, with his quick wit, had an explicit yet hilarious remark.

“Well, it’s gonna be kind of empty in that m*****f***er then,” said the acclaimed rapper, eliciting laughter from Barnes and co-host and fellow ex-NBA player Stephen Jackson.

A proud native of Long Beach, California, Snoop Dogg grew up adoring the Lakers. For years, fans of the Purple and Gold have dismissed the Clippers as “the other LA team.”

The Intuit Dome, located in Inglewood, California, cost $2 billion. It will host the Clippers’ first home game in the upcoming season on Oct. 23 against the Phoenix Suns.

According to the Clippers website, season membership for “The Wall” starts at $230 per month.

Fo shizzle, Snoop Dogg won’t be availing.
