Spider-Man Isekai’d in New Ultraman Crossover Manga

Spider-Man has unexpectedly found himself in a new world at the beginning of an exciting crossover manga series with Ultraman. Marvel has been expanding its presence in the manga universe over the past few years, resulting in various creative collaborations. One of the most notable of these is a full-fledged crossover with the legendary Ultraman franchise from Tsuburaya Productions. This new series, titled Ultraman: Along Came A Spider-Man, has already released its first two chapters, propelling Spider-Man into an entirely different realm.

In Ultraman: Along Came A Spider-Man, Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man, is introduced while working alongside Marvel’s Avengers to rescue as many people as possible. The tragic death of his Uncle Ben has instilled in him a deep sense of responsibility. However, during a battle with Dr. Doom, Peter faces a near-death experience. A mysterious train unexpectedly transports him through time and space, landing him in Ultraman’s Japan.

The start of Chapter 1 showcases Peter and the Avengers in the middle of saving people from a crumbling building. The situation escalates when Peter gets into a heated argument with Iron Man about whether to save a few individuals or prioritize the many. Choosing to stay behind, Peter falls into Dr. Doom’s trap and is nearly killed by a flurry of missile attacks. In the nick of time, a train appears out of nowhere and hits him.

This mysterious train travels through the multiverse, revealing that Dr. Doom is also on board. He pushes Peter off the train, causing Peter to land in a different version of Japan. Specifically, he arrives in the Japan where Shin Hayata can transform into the colossal hero Ultraman. Together, they face giant monsters and alien threats, and the collaboration hints at merging their unique methods to tackle greater conflicts in the future.

For readers interested in following this thrilling crossover, Ultraman: Along Came A Spider-Man is accessible through the Viz Manga app. New chapters are available for free, allowing fans to stay updated with the unfolding adventures.
