Spider One’s Horror Film “Little Bites” Premieres in Theaters October 2024

A theatrical release date has been announced for Spider One’s upcoming horror film, Little Bites. RLJE Films and Shudder have acquired the worldwide rights to the movie, setting its theatrical debut for October 4, 2024. Following its run in theaters, it will also become available for streaming on Shudder.

News of Little Bites first emerged in June 2023. It was revealed that Cher and her son, Chaz Bono, would be executive producing the project. Spider One, known for his work on Allegoria and Bury the Bride, has both written the script and will be directing the film. Production is being handled by OneFox Productions.

In addition to executive producing, Chaz Bono will also star in the film. The plot centers around a widowed mother who sacrifices her body to a flesh-eating monster in order to protect her daughter. She keeps her daughter hidden away at her grandmother’s home to ensure her safety.

The lead role of the mother, Mindy, is played by Krsy Fox, who has previously worked on Allegoria and Bury the Bride. Young actress Elizabeth Caro, known for Ariel: Mermaid Tales and Disney Junior’s Ariel, portrays Mindy’s daughter, Alice. Jon Sklaroff, recognized for his roles in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Gifted, plays the creature, Agyar. The cast also includes horror icons Barbara Crampton, Heather Langenkamp, and Bonnie Aarons, as well as Lyndsi LaRose and Mark Kelly.

Spider One expressed his excitement about the project to Deadline, praising the performances of Krsy Fox and Jon Sklaroff. “Krsy Fox and Jon Sklaroff delivered beyond my wildest expectations with their portrayals of Mindy and Agyar, and I can’t wait to once again team up with Shudder/RLJE and let horror fans sink their teeth into Little Bites,” One stated.

RLJE Chief Acquisitions Officer, Mark Ward, also shared his enthusiasm about collaborating with Spider One on this horror film. “We are thrilled to reteam with Spider One on this terrifying film. He continues to be a strong visionary talent, and we can’t wait for audiences to see Little Bites in theaters this Fall.”

As of now, we await the release of an official trailer, which should be shared closer to its premiere date. Stay tuned for more updates about Little Bites, and get ready for its release later next year.
