Stephen Colbert’s Epic Call on Cubs Left Fielder Ian Happ’s Home Run

The Blue Jays were riding high, having swept their previous series against the Los Angeles Angels.

Happ, who boasts 20 home runs, a .231 batting average, and 67 RBIs with a .779 OPS this season, led the Cubs offensively with two hits. Manager Craig Counsell’s team out-hit the Jays in the first eight innings of their matchup.

After this series, Counsell and the Cubs will welcome Manager AJ Hinch’s Detroit Tigers for a new series starting on Tuesday, August 20. Following that, the Cubs will embark on a three-game road trip to Miami to face the Marlins.
