Storms Disrupt Jason Aldean NJ Concert; New Date Announced

What was anticipated to be a great night of country music was unfortunately interrupted by severe weather over the weekend. While it’s always better to make decisions that ensure everyone’s safety, it didn’t lessen the disappointment of fans who missed the opportunity to see one of their favorite country stars live.

The incident occurred on Friday night in Camden, New Jersey, at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion. Jason Aldean was ready to entertain the Philly/South Jersey region with his “Highway Desperado Tour.” The venue was packed with excited fans looking forward to the show.

The event managed to feature its opening acts, including Lauren Alaina, who turned out to be the last performer of the evening.

The venue had to delay Jason Aldean’s set multiple times due to thunder and lightning. Unfortunately, the continuous inclement weather led to the postponement of the concert.

Jason Aldean took to Instagram and other social media platforms to express his disappointment over the situation. He emphasized his priority is always the safety of his fans while assuring them they won’t have to wait long to see the rescheduled concert.

Fans with tickets for the Friday, August 2nd show will now get to see him perform on Saturday, August 31st. Jason Aldean will be returning to South Jersey for this rescheduled performance, so fans are encouraged to mark their calendars.

Tickets from the original August 2nd show will be honored for the new date. Attendees only need to present their existing tickets at the venue on August 31st to gain entry.
