Suits Cast Members Who Are Friends Off-Screen

Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle, known for their roles in the popular TV series “Suits,” developed a natural on-screen chemistry thanks to their off-screen friendship. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly in 2013 about their intimate scenes, Meghan shared, “We obviously talked a lot about it, and we’re really good friends. Once you develop a comfort level with someone, that translates on camera.”

In 2018, Adams provided more insight into their unique relationship during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “Meghan and I were the closest because we were the youngest people in the cast and both came in with the least experience. We grew up together over the course of the show,” he explained. “There was this natural sense that we both knew that the time had come for both of us. It went unspoken and we just enjoyed the hell out of the last few episodes that we got to shoot.”

Since “Suits” concluded and Meghan’s life took a dramatic turn, Adams has become increasingly vocal about their enduring friendship. As reported by People, Adams defended Meghan against bullying allegations in a since-deleted tweet from 2021. He wrote, “From day one she [Meghan] was an enthusiastic, kind, cooperative, giving, joyful and supportive member of our television family. She remained that person and colleague as fame, prestige, and power accrued.”

Clearly, the bond that Meghan and Adams formed during their time on “Suits” has left a lasting impact, even though their paths might not cross as frequently.
