‘Supacell’ Gains Interest While ‘Axel F’ Makes a Big Debut on Netflix

Supacell is garnering significant attention on Netflix.

The sci-fi drama series ascended to the top spot on the English-language TV list, surpassing Bridgerton, which dropped to fourth place for the week of July 1. Supacell secured an impressive 11.8 million views, nearly doubling its performance from the prior week.

Despite this, Bridgerton maintains its overall dominance. Season 3 climbed to eighth place on Netflix’s most popular TV series list, adding another 4 million views this week. The season now boasts 95.8 million views over 53 days, with ample time remaining in its premiere window to continue climbing the ranks.

In other TV news, documentaries were also in high demand. The Man with 100 Kids secured second place with 6.6 million views, while the second season of Worst Roommate Ever took third with 5.4 million views. Sprint managed to capture sixth place with 2.4 million views.

The holiday week highlighted several popular movies. Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F debuted at No. 1 on the English-language films list with a staggering 41 million views, making it the most-watched title of the week. Zac Efron’s latest film, A Family Affair, followed closely with 31.9 million views, earning second place.

The Jessica Alba action-thriller Trigger Warning clinched third place last week with 8 million views.
