Susan Noles Expresses Disappointment After ‘Golden Bachelor’

Susan Noles has experienced numerous opportunities since her brief appearance on reality TV and remains appreciative. Yet, she feels a tad disappointed after her stint on The Golden Bachelor.

Susan is one of the most recognizable rejected contestants from The Golden Bachelor, along with Joan Vassos. She exited in Week 5 after an underwhelming connection with Gerry Turner. Susan later returned to officiate Gerry’s wedding to Theresa Nist, though the couple divorced only three months later.

Together with her close friend Kathy Swarts, Susan co-hosts the Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour podcast. In a recent interview with PEOPLE magazine, she revealed her biggest disappointment from the show. Surprisingly, it wasn’t being let go by Gerry Turner.

Susan was told to expect a flood of direct messages from men asking her out after her TV appearance. While this was true for Joan Vassos, it wasn’t Susan’s experience.

“Everybody said, ‘Oh, you’re going to get so many DMs and men are going to be hitting you up.’ It does not happen,” she admitted.

Susan added, “I don’t know if I’m too old or I’m too big of a personality, but yeah, no.”

In May, Susan shared on her podcast that a man had approached her traditionally, not through social media. A fan bumped into her at Marshalls, and they developed a friendship.

However, it didn’t escalate beyond that. She provided an update on her friend, Michael, saying, “I don’t think it’s anything crazy serious, but it’s good.”

Susan Noles has certainly prolonged her fame beyond the typical 15 minutes. Earlier this year, she strutted the runway at the New York Fashion Show.

Moreover, Susan is a QVC ambassador. She will also return to her reality TV roots soon. She confirmed to PEOPLE her involvement in an upcoming reality show on Hulu.

Additionally, Susan and some of the other Golden Bachelor ladies will make cameo appearances on Joan Vassos’ season of The Golden Bachelorette.
