T-Pain Rebukes Fans for Throwing Objects During His Performance

T-Pain had a challenging moment on stage when a few concertgoers started throwing objects at him during his performance.

On Thursday, August 1, T-Pain took the stage at the Mississippi Valley Fair in Davenport, Iowa, only to feel deeply disrespected by some members of the audience. The iconic rap-singer had to halt his performance to address the unruly behavior as various items were being tossed in his direction.

“As a muthaf**ka that turns 40 this year, I’m not obligated to stay up here while muthaf**kas keep disrespecting me,” T-Pain exclaimed as a bottle was thrown his way. “I don’t want to sound like an a*shole, but you wouldn’t stay up here if you just kept getting disrespected like that. That’s just weird.”

In this intense moment, many fans in the crowd started chanting his name in support. T-Pain made it clear that he appreciated the majority of his fans, naming only a few troublemakers as the culprits. “I want to keep going. I want to keep having fun. I f**k with the most of y’all. It’s only a few pieces of s**t out there … I’m not a f**king clown. I’m not gon’ sit up here and get pies thrown in my face and s**t. I don’t want to leave halfway through, trust me, but I can’t stay up this muthaf**ka getting disrespected. That’s all I’m saying,” he expressed.

Luckily, for those who came to enjoy the show, T-Pain did not allow the actions of a few to spoil the experience for the rest. Contrary to some false reports that he ended the performance early, a review by Gannon Hanevold for QC Online indicated that T-Pain completed his set, delivering hits like “I’m So Hood” and “All I Do Is Win.”

Connor Kenney, a midday radio personality at Quad Cities radio station B100 who introduced T-Pain at the fair, remarked that after the show, many fans felt a mix of sadness, embarrassment, anger, confusion, and other negative emotions due to the disrespectful incident.

In the videos below, you can watch T-Pain addressing the crowd and calling out those who ruined the moment by throwing items at the stage.
