Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa Share Summer Vacation Highlights: Photos

Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa have been spending some quality family time in the Caribbean recently. On Saturday, August 3rd, the couple gave fans a glimpse into their beach vacation through a joint Instagram post. The post featured images capturing moments with their 17-month-old son, Tristan, as well as Tarek’s children, Taylor (13) and Brayden (8), whom he shares with his ex-wife, Christina Hall. Heather’s parents also joined them for the trip.

One of the photos showed Heather, 36, posing in a red bikini and white cover-up, accessorizing with a sun visor and black sunglasses, against the lush greenery of their Caribbean resort. Another heartwarming image captured little Tristan playing with his toys on the beach. Yet another picture presented Heather, Tristan, and her mother, Teresa, enjoying a day out on the sand.

In another snapshot, Tarek, 42, is seen standing in the shallow waters of the Caribbean Sea along with Brayden and Heather’s parents. A brightly colored mimosa added a splash of tropical color to the series of photos. The couple also shared an adorable video where they danced with their toddler at a restaurant, Tarek playfully bouncing him while Heather held onto his little hands.

“Caribbean state of mind: activated 🏝️🥂🍓✨” the couple captioned their post, tagging their resort, the luxurious Aurora Anguilla, located in Rendezvous Bay. They clearly seemed to be soaking up every bit of the island’s beauty and serenity.

Earlier in the week, Heather had announced the beginning of their family vacation on Instagram Stories. The initial photo showed Heather, Tarek, and the kids standing in front of a plane on the runway, ready to embark on their journey. “Caribbean bound 🌴🌊✈️,” she wrote, tagging Tarek in the post.

True to her candid style, Heather shared the challenges of traveling with a big family group. She acknowledged that traveling can test even the strongest relationships, admitting that she and Tarek often stress each other out during the process. “Tarek and I are not the best travelers together I’d say. We always stress each other out,” Heather confessed in an Instagram video. However, she added that they’re quick to recover from these tension-filled moments.

Heather also mentioned that they had a stopover in Miami to let the kids sleep and get settled before continuing to the Caribbean the following day. This thoughtful layover appeared to be a strategy to ease the travel tension and ensure a smoother trip for the children.

Heather and Tarek, who celebrated their wedding on October 23, 2021, have consistently been a beloved duo on HGTV. They have teamed up for various projects, including “Flipping El Moussas” and their anticipated new show “The Flip Off,” which also features Tarek’s ex-wife Christina and her now ex-husband, realtor Josh Hall.

Their Caribbean getaway highlights a slice of family life, offering admirers some insight into their experiences and moments of joy, relaxation, and the occasional travel-induced stress.
