Taylor Swift Fans Praise ‘Extreme & Next Level’ Support From Eras Tour Crew

Taylor Swift fans are melting over a heartwarming new video showcasing one of her Eras Tour technicians fully embracing the Swiftie spirit during a performance of “marjorie”—undoubtedly one of the more emotional tracks on the setlist.

Swift went viral shortly after the tour started last summer for her unfiltered reaction when fans turned on their phone flashlights during the evermore track. The unexpected display left the superstar in tears as she sang lyrics dedicated to her late grandmother, Marjorie Finlay. The poignant moment saw fans illuminating the stadium as Swift crooned, “And if I didn’t know better, I’d think you were talking to me now. If I didn’t know better, I’d think you were still around,” accompanied by Marjorie’s operatic voice in the background.

In a new video from one of Swift’s eight shows in London, a crew member got in on the moving tradition, holding up a lit candle from behind the board while nodding along to the song.

The video was uploaded by a meme account dedicated to Swift last week, captioned with, “She has the cutest team 🥹,” on TikTok, and it quickly spread across X by other fan accounts. Swifties immediately agreed that the support shown by the “tech wizard,” as the video dubbed him, was “just extreme & next level.”
