Taylor Swift Praises Zoe Kravitz’s ‘Blink Twice’ Film and Sabrina Carpenter’s Album

Taylor Swift took to Instagram on Friday to highlight two new artistic accomplishments by her friends: Zoe Kravitz’s directorial debut “Blink Twice” and Sabrina Carpenter’s new album “Short ‘n Sweet.”

“This film is incredible,” Swift wrote in her Instagram story regarding “Blink Twice.” She praised it as “thrilling, twisted, wickedly funny, and visually stunning.” She added that the performances are phenomenal and credited Kravitz with conceptualizing, writing, obsessing over every detail, and directing the film with a clear and bold vision. “I’m so blown away by what she’s accomplished here and I can’t wait to watch everyone discover this film and this brilliant filmmaker,” Swift continued.

Kravitz, a close friend of Swift and now a director, appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” Thursday night. She discussed attending the Eras Tour with her fiancé, Channing Tatum, who is also the star of “Blink Twice.”

“It’s crazy. I’m not surprised because Taylor is scary talented at everything she does,” Kravitz shared with Fallon. “What is weirder to me, actually, is that after she performs for however many thousands of people, she just comes over after and we, like, drink some wine, eat a burger, and hang out. You would just never know that she’d just performed at Wembley.”

Swift also shared a trigger warning for “Blink Twice,” which Amazon released earlier this week to caution viewers about the film’s themes of sexual violence.

“Trigger warning: contains mature themes and depictions of violence, including sexual violence. This may be upsetting or triggering to some viewers,” Swift wrote.

Sabrina Carpenter, another artist Swift supports, released her highly anticipated sixth album, “Short ‘n Sweet,” on the same day. The album includes hits like “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.” Carpenter also unveiled the music video for “Taste,” featuring Jenna Ortega from “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.”

Swift praised the album in her Instagram story, saying: “Short. Sweet. Has made an extraordinary album. Go support our girl!!”
