Taylor Swift ‘Ready to Scream’ for Team USA as Song Features in Olympics Promo

She’s cheering for the home team.

Taylor Swift expressed her eagerness to support Team USA after her song “…Ready For It?” was featured in a 2024 Olympics promotional video.

“So ready to scream at my TV cheering for these athletes 🏅,” she shared on her Instagram Stories alongside the video clip.

The clip, shared on Instagram by NBC Olympics, began with a shot of an illuminated Eiffel Tower in Paris as a live version of Swift’s 2017 hit began playing. Several Olympians, including Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, spoke about the significance of being an athlete and reaching the Olympics.

Halfway through the video, Swift, 34, sang, “Are you ready for it? / Baby, let the games begin / Let the games begin / Let the games begin.” The clip concluded with gymnast Simone Biles asking, “Are you guys ready for it?”

Though currently on the international leg of her sold-out Eras Tour, Swift has been vocal about her support for Team USA.

Last month, Swift showed her support for Simone Biles after the four-time gold medalist used “…Ready For It?” for the start of her floor routine during the second day of the 2024 US Olympic Gymnastics Trials. “Watched this so many times and still unready. She’s ready for it tho👏👏👏🥇🇺🇸❤,” Swift tweeted on June 29 in response to Biles’ performance.

Biles, 27, ended her routine, which included the “hardest tumbling pass in the world,” with Travis Scott and Beyoncé’s collaboration, “Delresto (Echoes),” helping her finish in first place during the women’s qualifying.
