Taylor Swift Stalker Arrested at Germany Tour for Threatening Travis Kelce

An American man was arrested ahead of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour show in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, after he allegedly made threats against her and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. The 34-year-old suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, was apprehended during an entry check despite holding a ticket for the concert at Veltins-Arena, as reported by the Associated Press.

The man allegedly made threats against the famous couple on social media, prompting event organizers to alert authorities. Following an initial investigation that couldn’t entirely dismiss the potential risk, he was detained.

He is currently being held until Saturday, which marks the end of Taylor Swift’s three consecutive shows in Gelsenkirchen. Swift, 34, is presently on her record-breaking tour through Europe. Her next stops include two nights in Hamburg followed by three shows in Munich.

Travis Kelce, 34, has been accompanying the “Karma” singer during her performances in Germany. He was seen affectionately wrapping his arm around her shoulder as they left the stage together on Thursday night. Following his team’s Super Bowl win in February, Kelce has been tagging along with his Grammy-winning girlfriend across multiple international destinations, including Buenos Aires, Sydney, Singapore, Paris, London, Dublin, and Amsterdam.

However, with the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp now underway at Missouri Western State University, Kelce might have to press pause on his global travels.

Swift’s tour will continue until December 8, and she reportedly aims to attend as many NFL games as her schedule permits. Last year, she managed to attend 13 Kansas City Chiefs games, her favorite number, and even made it to the Super Bowl to witness her beau secure his third championship ring. Swift demonstrated her commitment by flying to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas right after performing four concerts in Japan, utilizing the 17-hour time difference to her advantage.

After Swift and Kelce took their relationship public last fall, the singer made it clear she would support her boyfriend openly, a departure from her previously private approach to her love life. In her 2023 Time Person of the Year profile, she explained, “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care. The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
