Taylor Swift Surprises Fans with 2 Special Guests Onstage for Eras Tour Debut

Taylor Swift fans experienced numerous surprises during her Eras Tour show at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday, Aug. 20, though not the one they highly anticipated.

Prior to the Tuesday show, speculation was rife among fans that Swift would announce her much-anticipated re-recording, Reputation (Taylor’s Version). Unfortunately, this did not occur.

However, the fans had reasons to celebrate as not one, but two surprise guests graced the stage. Florence Welch from Florence & The Machine was the first to make an appearance, joining Swift to perform “Florida!!!” during the Tortured Poets Department set.

Shortly after, Swift’s longtime producer and close friend, Jack Antonoff, joined her for the “surprise song” segment of the concert.

They performed a medley of songs, including “Death by a Thousand Cuts” and “Getaway Car.”

At the end of the Aug. 20 show, Swift surprised the audience once again by debuting a new music video for her TTPD track, “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart.” The video is now available on YouTube.

Swift will now take a two-month break from her highly successful Eras Tour. Starting Oct. 18, she will resume with three shows in Miami, Fla., followed by performances in New Orleans and Indianapolis. The tour will continue with stops in Toronto and Vancouver, finally wrapping up on Dec. 8.
