Taylor Swift’s Fearless Message to Simone Biles, Katie Ledecky for 2024 Olympics

On Saturday, three of the USA’s top athletes achieved a significant milestone by securing medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Gymnast Simone Biles clinched gold in the vault final, swimmer Katie Ledecky emerged victorious in the 800m freestyle, and runner Sha’Carri Richardson earned silver in the 100m event.

With these wins, Biles and Ledecky have added to their already impressive Olympic medal tallies, while Richardson celebrated her first-ever Olympic medal. Amidst the excitement of the Paris Games, popular American singer and songwriter Taylor Swift shared an inspirational message for these three stellar athletes through a video posted on social media by NBC.

“Never be afraid to show them who you are, especially when the whole world is watching. Because there’s no one way to be the best. No one way to inspire everyone else who will someday follow. You do what you love. You love what you do. You believe in your style, whatever it is. Katie, Sha’Carri, and Simone. Three American stars. Three different visions of greatness,” Swift said.

Simone Biles, with her latest Olympic gold medal, now boasts a total of seven Olympic golds, including four she won back in 2016. This year, Biles took home gold in the team, all-around, and vault events.

Katie Ledecky made history by winning two gold medals in Paris, bringing her career total to nine Olympic golds, the highest for any woman in Team USA history. Remarkably, she has won four consecutive 800m freestyle events since the 2012 London Olympics.

This year marks Sha’Carri Richardson’s first appearance at the Olympics. In 2020, she was deemed ineligible due to a positive drug test for THC. Nevertheless, Richardson proved her prowess at the 2023 Budapest World Championships, where she secured a gold medal in the 100m race.
