Team USA Olympic Medalist Joins “Dancing With The Stars”

Olympic Medalist Stephen Nedoroscik is back at it again. Known as the “pommel horse guy,” this Olympian has found new ways to engage and entertain his audience when he’s not busy winning medals. “Dancing with the Stars” just announced Stephen Nedoroscik as the first celebrity contestant on Season 33.

Stephen gained immense popularity this Olympic season by helping the USA men’s gymnastics team win their first medal in 16 years. The team secured a bronze medal at the men’s gymnastics final at the Paris Olympics. While his routines on the pommel horse are impressive, this Olympic athlete seems to have new routines in store for us.

PEOPLE revealed how the bronze medalist was announced. They stated, “After teasing Nedoroscik as a two-time Olympic bronze medalist and the first male gymnast to compete on the show. The camera then panned to the 25-year-old as he showed off some of his pommel horse routines on the studio floor.”

Good Morning America shared the video of the big reveal on their X account.

People have called him “the pommel horse guy” and “Clark Kent” because of his infamous glasses. What will the world call him now as he takes the “Dancing with the Stars” stage by storm? In an interview with GMA, the host asked him if he would bring any of his pommel horse moves to the dance floor.

Nedoroscik responded, “I’m hoping to bring some of them. I want to bring some flare. I want to bring some of that gymnastics. Maybe a backflip or handstand. I want to have fun with it.”

The star also revealed his excitement about the opportunity. He said “yes” right away when asked to join the “Dancing with the Stars” team. His only fear is that he doesn’t want his infamous glasses to fall off.

We can’t wait to see his solution to that issue, as well as how he incorporates his incredible gymnastics talents on the dance floor. Season 33 of “Dancing with the Stars” begins on September 17. So grab your popcorn and watch Stephen Nedoroscik showcase yet another talent.
