Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans has had her share of challenges with men, including her second baby daddy, Nathan Griffith. The two share a young son, Kaiser, who has appeared on the MTV docuseries. From the beginning, Evans and Griffith’s relationship was tumultuous, and recently, Griffith has been distant from Kaiser’s life. His absence could extend further as reports indicate that Griffith has been incarcerated since June 2024 and remains in a Nevada prison for nearly a month. This situation might worsen, given that the Teen Mom 2 dad is facing even bigger issues.

Griffith was removed from the Veteran’s Court program that he was sentenced to in 2023 after pleading guilty to attempted assault by strangulation against his sister. The reason for his removal was his failure to “adhere to the programming rules and policies.”

Previously, he had agreed to the program’s stipulations when he pleaded guilty. These included adhering to sober living conditions, abstaining from drugs and alcohol, having a set curfew, attending counseling sessions, and consenting to have his cell phone monitored. He was also not allowed to use someone else’s phone or let anyone use his.

Griffith was placed in the Veteran’s program due to his service in the U.S. Marines Corp. However, being kicked out of the program means he will no longer be on probation. His conviction for “Attempted Battery by Strangulation” will now be permanently reinstated on his record. He faces a minimum prison term of two years, with a potential maximum of 15 years, along with fines.

Reports also suggest he has been estranged from his son, Kaiser, for nearly two years. In earlier court appearances, Griffith conceded that he was not fit to assist in Kaiser’s care.
