‘Teen Mom’ Tyler & Catelynn’s Daughter, Vaeda, Looks Unrecognizable

Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra recently shared a back-to-school photo of their daughters, Vaeda and Nova, that left Teen Mom fans in awe over how much Vaeda has grown. The snapshot, posted on Tyler’s Instagram on Monday, August 26, shows the sisters standing on the stairs in their home, with Nova affectionately draping her arm around her younger sister.

Vaeda, dressed for her first day of kindergarten, wore a purple shirt emblazoned with “Hello Kindergarten,” paired with black shorts and black sneakers. Her hair was styled in two buns, adorned with pink ribbons. Nova, stepping into fourth grade, sported a more alternative look with a t-shirt featuring a melted skull, blue jean shorts, fishnet sleeves, and white sneakers. Her glasses and pulled-back hair completed her distinctive outfit.

Both girls appeared eager and ready to start their school year. Tyler, a Teen Mom star, expressed his disbelief and nostalgia in the caption, saying, “FIRST DAY of school & I can’t believe we have a 4TH GRADER & a kid in KINDERGARTEN! How can time be such a thief, while simultaneously being such a gift? My babies are growing up way too fast!”

A few weeks back, some fans criticized Tyler for seemingly using Vaeda to garner likes on social media. He had shared a video clip showing him carrying Vaeda back to the car after an Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting at school. In the video, Catelynn is seen crying while adjusting to the reality of having a child with special needs.

The caption for the video discussed their experience of obtaining an IEP through the school and mentioned plans to collaborate with a pediatrician. Some fans felt that Tyler was crossing a line. One critic commented, “People don’t need to know this, Tyler. Stop exploiting your daughter’s private business for clicks.” Another added, “As a mom of neurodivergent children, this isn’t your information to share with the world.
