The Beatles Almost Return to the Top 10 in Their Home Country

The Beatles’ hits from over half a century ago continue to captivate audiences, demonstrating an enduring appeal that transcends time. It’s fascinating to witness how these classic tunes still resonate so powerfully, encouraging both streaming and vinyl purchases among music lovers worldwide.

This week, The Beatles came tantalizingly close to re-entering the top 10 on one of their home country’s song charts. Although they fell short by a few spots, their near-return to the top tier with a song already well-known to millions emphasizes their undying popularity.

The Beatles’ release “From Us To You – 2 March 1964” made a significant leap on the Official Vinyl Singles chart in the U.K., vaulting from No. 22 to No. 12. This release, which functions more as an EP than a single given its inclusion of more than a half-dozen tracks, showcases the band’s lasting influence on vinyl sales.

The center of this collection is the song “From Me to You,” initially released in 1963 as a single. The EP, released earlier this month, complements this classic track with additional cuts, making it an essential acquisition for Beatles enthusiasts. Upon its release, the title debuted at No. 6 and has now spent three frames within the top 10 on the Official Vinyl Singles chart.

In addition to its success on the vinyl chart, the same project is climbing the Official Physical Singles chart. It moved up from No. 29 to No. 18, inching closer to its previous peak position of No. 12.

This week, The Beatles secured two spots on the Official Physical Singles chart. Alongside “From Us To You – 2 March 1964,” the band’s latest single “Now and Then,” released in late 2023, saw a significant rise, jumping from No. 62 to No. 32.
