The Kid Laroi Announces ‘The First Time’ Arena Tour in Australia

The Kid Laroi’s re-routed tour of Australia is set to visit arenas across the country this November.

Announced on Monday, Laroi will embark on a seven-city, eight-date tour starting Monday, November 11 at Gold Coast’s Home Of The Arts. The tour will then continue to Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, and conclude with two shows on November 29 and 30 at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena.

The tour will feature Migos founding member Quavo and controversial west Sydney drill unit OneFour, and is produced by TEG Live.

This rescheduled tour replaces an earlier trans-Tasman stadium visit initially planned for February 2024 but later shelved.

“I’M COMING BACK HOMEE & BRINGING SOME FRIENDS WITH ME,” Laroi announced on social media. “Thank you for being so patient with me & I’m sorry that this took so long. I love you guys beyond words & I promise we’re gonna make this special!!!!!!”

Raised in inner-city Sydney and now based in Los Angeles, Laroi last played arenas in Australia in May and June 2022 for his End of the World Tour, which was also produced by Handsome Tours and TEG Live.

The First Time Australia Tour will support Laroi’s debut full-length LP of the same name, which was released on November 10 through Columbia/Sony Music, and debuted at No. 3 on the national ARIA Chart. The album track “Girls” recently made history by being recognized with the first Australian Chart #1 Award, celebrating its success on the Australian charts.

General public tickets will go on sale from August 8 at 1 PM local time via ticketek.com.au.

As a teenager, the Gadigal-born artist with Kamilaroi roots broke records on his way to fame. His debut mixtape F*ck Love, released in 2020, climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 a year after its release. At age 17, Laroi (born Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard) became the first solo male Australian to reach No. 1 since Keith Urban’s Fuse in 2013.

When F*ck Love (Savage) topped the ARIA Albums Chart in February 2021, Laroi was recognized as the youngest Australian solo artist to achieve this feat, at 17 years, 5 months, and 22 days old.

Throughout his career, Laroi has accumulated various awards, including ARIAs, NIMAs, several Billboard Music Awards, and a Grammy Award nomination for best newcomer.
