‘The Monkey’ Teaser Reveals Blood-Soaked Theo James

Aug. 12 (UPI) — A new teaser for The Monkey reveals a blood-soaked Theo James and sets a February release date.

The film, inspired by a Stephen King story, sparked a competitive race among distributors, with Neon emerging as the winner. The production company shared the teaser on their X profile.

Theo James, known for his role as Cameron in The White Lotus Season 2, stars as adult twins Hal and Bill. The twins must destroy a monkey toy they found as children, which has been linked to sudden deaths.

Christian Convery takes on the roles of the young twins. The cast also includes She-Hulk actress Tatiana Maslany, Schitt’s Creek‘s Sarah Levy, and The Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood.

Produced by James Wan, known for his work on horror franchises such as Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring, Annabelle, The Nun, and M3GAN, the film is set to be another compelling addition to the genre.

The Monkey is scheduled to hit theaters on February 21, 2025.
