Think You’ve Seen It All? Check Out This Darkly Funny Deleted Scene

The confrontation between good and evil on the show Evil might have concluded, but fans can still relish some twisted interactions between characters Kristen and Leland.

Co-creator Robert King recently shared a deleted scene from the show’s Season 4 premiere, “How to Split an Atom,” on Twitter. This unexpected video release came just a day after the series finale was unveiled.

“At the risk of being like the graduate who hangs around campus over summer I have some content I want to throw on here,” King commented, explaining that the scene was amusing but ultimately slowed down the show’s pace too much.

In the scene, Leland corners Kristen in an elevator and attempts to persuade her to embrace her role as the mother of the antichrist. “It’s no joke. Why do you think you killed? It’s because it’s in your blood. It’s because your parents did it, your grandparents,” Leland insists.

As the elevator begins to fill with people, Leland continues to argue that the baby will need its biological mother’s milk.

“So Lucifer chose me to be the whore of Babylon, and I’ve got to nurse the antichrist?” Kristen responds loudly and skeptically, laughing and drawing curious looks from the other elevator passengers.
