Tinashe Teams Up with Chlöe on ‘Nasty Girl Remix’ for ‘Match My Freak’

Tinashe’s latest track “Nasty” has become an unexpected sensation, leaving her former record label, RCA, regretting their lack of support for her multi-genre approach. Now fully in charge of her artistic vision, Tinashe is seizing every moment to push her boundaries.

Introducing the “Nasty” remix, Tinashe has enlisted fellow pop and R&B star Chlöe. A few days ago, Chlöe teased the remix while showcasing her Carnival costumes to her social media followers. In the original “Nasty” track, Tinashe provocatively asks, “Is somebody gonna match my freak?” Chlöe’s response in the remix is an enthusiastic affirmation, bringing the same bold energy she demonstrated in hits like “Have Mercy” and “Treat Me.” Chlöe’s delivery flirts with a quick-paced, almost rap-like style as she sings, “Hey, big daddy, is it big enough, deep enough? / Freak enough, can I get a little, little piece of ya?”

The remix is a highlight of Tinashe’s newly released EP, “Match My Freak,” which features a collection of remixes, including contributions from Kaytranada, OG Ron C & DJ Candlestick, and more. Another standout remix on the EP includes a fresh verse from Tyga, adding another layer of dynamism to Tinashe’s evolving sound.

In parallel, Tinashe is gearing up for the release of her album “Quantum Baby,” set to drop on August 16 via Nice Life. The artist seems unstoppable, continuously exploring and expanding her musical horizons.
