TNT Honors Shannen Doherty with ‘Charmed’ Marathon

TNT is celebrating the life and career of Shannen Doherty with a Charmed marathon, featuring a collection of the Best of Prue episodes. The four-day marathon, which is now in day two, features 25 episodes (including two directed by Doherty) spotlighting the actress as Prue Halliwell.

Doherty died on July 13 at age 53 after a long battle with cancer.

Charmed, which has aired on TNT since 2001, chronicles the conflicts and the love among three vastly different sisters (including Holly Marie Combs as Piper and Alyssa Milano as Phoebe) and their need to come together to fulfill an ancient witchcraft prophecy. By the end of the first episode, each of the three Halliwell sisters learns that she has a unique magical power that allows them to cast spells and brew potions. Doherty’s Prue, the eldest, has the power of telekinesis (the ability to move objects with her mind), and she eventually develops the power of astral projection (the ability to be in two places at once).

When Doherty exited Charmed at the end of the third season, Prue sacrifices herself to save her sisters, and the remaining Halliwells find out they have a half-sibling named Paige (Rose McGowan).

Charmed originally ran on the now-defunct WB network for eight seasons, from 1998 to 2006, and was rebooted on The CW for four additional seasons (2008 to 2022).

The remaining three days of the Charmed marathon airs on TNT from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET, with the scheduled episodes as follows:
