Tom Cruise’s Reclusive Son Connor Shares Glimpse of Life Away from Hollywood
Connor Cruise appears to be more comfortable sharing his personal life on Instagram. The 29-year-old, who lives in a Scientology community in Clearwater, Florida, has been spending more time with his famous father, Tom Cruise, and sharing photos of these moments on social media, according to People.
Recently, Connor posted two photos showing him hanging out with friends. One photo depicts him next to a friend on a pavement walkway with a rocky beach and sunset in the background. “Happy birthday,” Connor wrote in the caption, tagging his friend @hookedforlife.
In another post, also from Saturday, Connor is seen on a boat with a group of friends. “Happy birthday buddy!!” he wrote, accompanying a photo of the four excited fishermen after reeling in a massive Grouper.
Connor Cruise, 29, gave a rare glimpse into his life with a couple of new photos of himself, as he wishes a friend a happy birthday.
In more recent times, Tom Cruise, 62, decided to drop in on the 2024 Paris Olympics for the Closing Ceremony on August 11 in Saint-Denis near Paris, France.
Over the years, Connor and his sister Isabella Cruise have made efforts to keep their personal lives private. Before these recent posts, Connor’s last photo on social media was in April 2023, when he was golfing with a friend at the private Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, as reported by Page Six.
That image was the sports enthusiast’s first social media post after an eight-month hiatus. Occasionally, Connor spends time with his father and posts pictures of these moments on social media. For instance, he took a helicopter ride in London this past June.
A year earlier, he attended one of his dad’s promotional events for Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One in New York City in July 2023.
Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman adopted Connor shortly after his birth in January 1995. Before that, they had adopted Isabella in December 1992.

From there, Connor explored other passions in life, including DJing, which he shared on Instagram for several years. More recently, he has turned to deep-sea fishing, something he regularly posts about on his social media pages.
