Tommy Lee Shares Ozzy Osbourne’s Shocking Ant-Snorting Story

Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee has unveiled details of a notoriously outrageous incident with Ozzy Osbourne.

The infamous story, repeated over the years, took place in 1984 when the rockers were on tour together. During one chaotic, drug-fueled moment, Osbourne snorted a line of ants to establish his supremacy as the wildest rocker. Despite skepticism, the episode remains a legendary moment in rock history and was portrayed in Motley Crue’s biopic The Dirt.

“Full-on true,” Lee confirmed during an appearance on This Past Weekend With Theo Von, reaffirming the story’s authenticity. “People ask all the time, ‘Dude, really?’ and I say, ‘abso-fucking-lutely. You can’t make that shit up.’”

Lee explained that during that time, everyone was trying to outdo each other in terms of outrageous behavior. “Ozzy was wasted. He saw a trail of ants leading to a kid’s popsicle on the ground. Without hesitation, Ozzy snorted the line of ants. Nikki [Sixx] then decided to outdo him by pulling out his privates at the Four Seasons hotel, where children were present. Nikki was about to lick up his own urine when Ozzy beat him to it, licking up Nikki’s urine instead. At that point, we conceded, ‘Ozzy, you win. You win, dude.’”

Lee further described how the antics didn’t stop at the pool. After getting kicked out, he tried escorting Osbourne to his room.

“In the elevator, with people around, Ozzy pulled down his pants and started defecating. I was horrified, yelling, ‘Ozzy, dude. No! Fuck! Dude, no,’” Lee recounted.

The situation worsened once Lee finally got Osbourne back to his room.

“I said goodbye but Ozzy insisted I come inside. He then started defecating in the middle of the room, picked it up, and began smearing it on the walls. I knew I had to leave, so I bailed,” Lee concluded.
