Tony and Ziva Have Their Tali (and Main Cast)!

The highly anticipated Tony and Ziva spin-off has added more cast members, including the young actress who will play their daughter, Tali! It’s remarkable to think that Tali is almost a teenager, following the timeline from the original NCIS series.

Recently, the casting details for Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly’s NCIS spin-off, now titled NCIS: Tony and Ziva, were revealed. Currently in production in Budapest, the series has attracted a talented ensemble, generating a lot of excitement among fans. Besides Tali, who else can we expect to see in this new chapter?

Isla Gie will take on the role of Tali, and she is set to appear in the third season of Apple+’s Foundation next year. The character description for Tali depicts her as “precocious” and eager to show everyone, especially the adults, that she doesn’t require coddling. However, given she is just 12, it’s only natural for the adults around her to want to shield her from the dangers of their occupations.

Several other new series regulars will join the David-DiNozzo family. Actress Lara Rossi will play Sophie, Tali’s caretaker. Sophie is both nurturing and alert, traits likely honed from her time in the Special Air Service, signaling that she is not someone to be trifled with. Rossi is known for her roles in The Watch, Robin Hood, and Iron Sky: The Coming Race.

From Shadow and Bone, Amita Suman will portray Claudette, the Chief Technical Officer in Tony’s private security company. Claudette is highly skilled and essential to the organization, able to handle any technical issue that comes her way.

Nassima Benchicou, noted for her appearance in Emily in Paris, has been cast as Martine, a former French intelligence officer skilled in playing both sides for her own gain. She’s described as “elegant and cunning.”

Julian Ovenden, familiar to fans of Bridgerton, will play Jonah, the Secretary General of Interpol. Jonah, who has a background with the NSA, is characterized by his decisiveness and determination. Though he acknowledges the world’s flaws, he believes he can mend them, a confidence he materializes with charisma.

Maximilian Osinski, recognized from Ted Lasso, takes on the role of Boris, a brilliant Russian ex-pat hacker living a life detached from societal norms. His intelligence affords him certain privileges and anonymity, making him an elusive figure.

James D’Arcy, known for his work in Agent Carter, will be Henry, an Interpol agent intensely focused on his career. Having dedicated his life to bringing international criminals to justice, Henry’s commitment to his job supersedes his personal life.

Terence Maynard has been cast as Dr. Lang, a gentle yet probing therapist who helps individuals deal with severe trauma, assisting them in finding comfort and regaining their agency.

The series will follow Tony and Ziva as they deal with the aftermath of an attack on their security company. As they go on the run, the family strives to uncover the perpetrators and learn to trust one another again. It appears that despite their reunion, Tony and Ziva will have to work through various challenges to make their relationship flourish.

We’re thrilled to see Tony and Ziva back in action, particularly with the inclusion of their daughter Tali. The assembled cast promises an exciting beginning to this new chapter. Stay tuned for more updates about NCIS: Tony and Ziva as we learn more about this eagerly awaited streaming series.
